Please take me to a show Daddy champeen Morgan Please Please do Daddy. LOOK written buy murray. Please please please please.

Murray's handwriting did not improve much in subsequent years, although his spelling did.

The plea worked. HVM was close to 60 by then and not up to much of playing sports or roughhousing with his 8-year-old son, but he liked spending time with him. He annotated this document in his equally terrible penmanship: "I had told him I would not go but this turned the trick, and we went to Proctor St. Blue Mouse and saw Leather Stockings and Tom Mix and his Wonderful Horse.   --Daddy Champeen Morgan"
